KEITH E. WARREN
PRESIDENT
Keith Warren is the President of Warren & Co., Inc. – Management Solutions which he founded in September 1997. Keith began his career as an intern with Mike Weeks and Associates in 1991. He later joined the firm on a full-time basis. He also began his licensing board experience in 1991 when he was named Executive Assistant to the Board of Electrical Contractors. Shortly thereafter he was named Administrator of the Board and assumed supervision of the Board’s operations.
Keith serves as the Executive Director for the following: Alabama Board of Electrical Contractors; Alabama State Board of Auctioneers; Alabama Board of Licensure for Professional Geologists; Alabama Massage Therapy Board; Alabama Board of Podiatry, Alabama Drycleaning Environmental Response Trust Fund Board, Alabama Security Regulatory Board, and the Alabama Athletic Commission.
He is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Boards.
Keith started his career in politics early on when he was adopted at the age of 5 weeks by Mr. & Mrs. James E. “Jimmy” Warren, who served 32 years in the Alabama House of Representatives. Keith was five weeks old when he visited the Alabama State Capitol with his new parents and being presented to Legislative Staff, Members and other State Officials.
Keith is active in numerous civic and professional organizations. He earned life time membership in the Nationwide Register’s Who’s Who in Executives and Business in February 1999. He is a member of the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce. Keith is also the Past-President of the Alabama Association of Regulatory Boards and is Past President and member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of State Contractors Licensing Boards (NASCLA). NASCLA is a national organization located in Phoenix, Arizona, promotes construction standards and licensing throughout the United States. He is a member of Dalraida United Methodist Church of Montgomery, Alabama and also serves as the pianist. He is currently a student at Troy University Montgomery.
HOPE PAULENE
DIRECTOR OF FISCAL OPERATIONS
Hope Paulene is the Director of Fiscal Operations for Warren & Company, Inc. Hope brings almost six years of banking experience to the staff. Through her Banking career, she learned how a Branch operated on a daily basis, from a teller’s position to a loan counselor. With her training, she was able to accommodate the public with their daily finances; whether it was simple tasks such as operating a cash drawer or the more complex tasks such as counseling and lending. She also was responsible for auditing loans to ensure the loan documents were correct based on guidelines. Due to her knowledge and experience, Ms. Paulene was often responsible for training others within her Branch. Ms. Paulene holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Troy State University of Montgomery.
The above mentioned educational background and extensive financial experience is used now to provide Warren & Company clients with superior financial processing and public services. Hope is responsible for the administrative duties of the Alabama Board of Auctioneers, the Alabama Board of Licensure for Professional Geologists, and Alabama State Board of Podiatry. In addition to Ms. Paulene’s administrative responsibilities, Hope serves as the Office Manager and is responsible for accounting of Warren and Company, Inc. Her financial skills provide a significant service to client state boards in processing financial vouchers through the State Comptrollers Office and making deposits to the State Treasury in a responsible and efficient manner.
RANDY BARROWS
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Randy Barrows is the Director of Operations for Warren & Company, Inc. Randy brings almost six years of office experience to the staff as well as four years in the military. Through his office experience, he learned how to manage offices, coordinate supply inventory, handle scheduling of employees, and coordinate world-wide shipping and ordering of products.
The above mentioned experience is used now to provide Warren & Company clients with superior public services. Randy is responsible for many administrative duties for the Alabama Board of Electrical Contractors, Alabama Board of Massage Therapy, and the Alabama Drycleaning Environmental Response Trust Fund Board. Randy processes license renewal applicants daily and process reciprocal applications daily in order to expedite licensure needs. Randy is the assistant to the Drycleaning Environmental Response Trust Fund Board in scheduling meetings, distributing correspondence to Board Members and the Board Engineer and other duties assigned by the Executive Director.
KIM STARNES
REGULATORY LICENSING SPECIALIST
Kim Starnes is the Regulatory Licensing Specialist for Warren & Company, Inc. Kim brings 7 years customer service and 3 years of banking experience. Through her retail management and banking career, she learned to provide exceptional customer service on a daily basis from assistant manager to managing multiple retail locations to being a Branch Manager of a bank. Through her management experience, she learned how to multi-task, prioritize, coordinate and schedule events and resolve customer service issues with a smile. She also was responsible for managing employees and ensuring efficient operations. Kim ensures that all mail is distributed throughout the office expeditiously to ensure timely correspondence from the Board office to consumers and/or licensees. Mrs. Starnes holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Troy State University.
MIKE JAMES
DIRECTOR OF REGULATORY INVESTIGATIONS
Mike James is the Investigator for Warren & Company, Inc. Mike a graduate of the University of Alabama and the FBI’ s National Academy brings 30 years of criminal and regulatory investigative experience to the staff Through his law enforcement experience, he has successfully conducted hundreds of criminal and regulatory investigations.
The above mentioned experience is used now to provide Warren & Company clients with excellent investigative services. All investigations are conducted promptly in a highly sensitive and confidential manner with the outcome directed to protect the public and to ensure that all licensee are treated fairly.
RENEE' REAMES
EXECUTIVE SECRETARY
Renee’ Reames is the Executive Secretary for Warren & Company, Inc. Renee’ brings over 20 years of executive secretarial experiences to the staff, along with sales and investment banking experience. Through her office experience, she has learned how to manage offices, supervise and train staff, develop and implement office procedures, create and maintain filing systems, record and prepare meeting minutes, prioritize, schedule and track project timelines, coordinate meeting calendars and organize events, and provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues. These customer service and organizational skills were beneficial in her sales and investment banking positions and is now used in assisting the Executive Director, staff and clients of Warren Company.
